I have been reading comments and articles published by My Home Life. It's been and inspiration for me, as it has boost the way we work. I would very like to join into the project and share some my expereince and those of my staff and residents. Can you tell me how do I go about to do so. In Wales our steering group involves inspection and regulatory bodies, senior civil servants, local government representatives as well as academic institutions, the care homes' managers, owners and practitioners and older people as carers and residents. All are so supportive and interested in the work of My Home Life Wales. Having been involved in the work in care homes since 1990 I am so excited and encouraged by all these conversations. Thank you, Lorraine Morgan My Home Life Wales Chair Brilliant – this seems to be one of the intended possible outputs to the influence and effectiveness of My Home Life.

I hear good reports from Plymouth and Wiltshire. I normally work for CQC (developed SOFI with Dawn Brooker) but am on secondment to DH implementing the dementia strategy. I have met Tom in the past. We are introducing a dementia quality mark in the SW and I want to ensure it is aligned to MHL. Martin Green suggested I make contact with Professor Julienne Meyer to talk it through.
